回答: 需要从专业的前景,社会的需求,个人的理想来评价学习某个专业是否可能成功。专业的前景,比如现在全球经济处于缓慢复苏状态,许多岗位需要更多的金融学专业的学生,前景很好;社会的需求,虽然这个专业的前景很好,但是由于2007年金融危机的爆发使得更多的人关注金融学,这也使金融专业的学生处于饱和的状态,社会需求可能已经小于社会对该专业学生的供给;如果个人十分喜爱这个专业,虽然说目前社会的需求并无法满足自己的发展,但是只要有目标有理想的奋斗,还是有机会在该专业上有所建树的。
2. 如果没能形成正确的价值理念标准,而仅仅为了“成功”而选择专业,会有哪些潜在的问题和不足?请举例并简述。
回答: 如果仅仅为了世俗对于“成功”的标准而选择专业,那么很有可能丧失自己在某些方面的天赋,或者活的不快乐。比如现在很多人都想进入顶尖大学的商学院学习,这样以后毕业获得高薪水的工作的概率更大。但是这些人中有很多人曾经擅长不同的东西,有人擅长音乐,有人擅长写作,但是由于为“成功”而选择专业,他们的这些特长便得不到更进一步的发展。 同样,这样的人在未来想起自己曾经有机会为自己喜欢的东西而奋斗时,也会感到一丝的失落。
3. 除了为以后的成功做准备以外,在大学阶段,学生应该锻炼哪些其他能力?怎样进行这些能力的锻炼?请举例并简述。
回答: 合作能力,沟通能力,自主学习能力,实践能力。合作能力可以通过参加比赛获得;沟通能力可以通过进行社交活动获得;自主学习能力可以借助网络完成,比如coursera或者udacity等等;实践能力可以通过参加internship获得。
4. 在毕业之后的工作和生活中,是否只有专业知识才是有用的?如果不是,还有哪些知识是有用的?为什么?请举例说明。
回答: 并不是的。在毕业之后的工作和生活中,人们会面临除了专业知识之外的许多东西,比如历史、人文、社会、地理方面的知识。比如做金融工作的人,当他观察市场时不仅仅用到了金融学知识,比如各种模型,还要根据社会上发生的许多不同的事情来判断市场的走向,比如乌克兰的暴乱,石油的泄漏等等。
5. 教育机构应该对学生的学习和发展起到怎样的引导作用?都应该如何去做?请分析并简述。
回答: 教育机构应该试图让学生在完成专业知识学习的同时,引导他们关注社会,关注与职业相关的发展。比如开展针对社会相关问题的讲座或者研讨会,进行职业发展的指导并且对学生进行职业测评等等。

Students now have the tendency to choose a major which may lead them towards the triumph of their life in the future. They consider success as a matter of good job, high salary, comfortable life. Thus, even if the major is jaded to them, yet they refuse to jettison it. In most cases, students try really hard to stick to their major while they feel spent studying it. It's understandable that student are reluctant to quit because of the temptation of the so-called success. However, educational institutions do have the capacity and responsibility to guide the students to find the best major suits them.It's never too late to fall in love with the right major, especially when you are in college. In search for factors of success, interest, focus and guide from others matter the most.First of all, as we know, interest is the best teacher. Usually, the feeling of baldness results from arid working. Why some people are able to remain seated for hours in the library reading books? The reason is that they have keen to them. In a further implication, interest implies people that they have the will to do something. Which means that once people accept some affairs with pleasure, without any pushing actions, they are in the mood of all-in to finish them. In this way, there are better chances for people to dig into deeper facets of the major they study. Well, apparently, interest is not the only thing student have to possess towards their major. Focus means a lot during their study procedure. When interest leads student to put forward lots of questions about their study, focus is the key point to solve them. Complicate cases need student to focus on. Also, guide from others decides the core part of being success. It's inevitable to come across puzzles during learning. At this very moment, guide from teachers and peers play an crucial role for student's development. By exchanging ideas, students will gain a much more profound understanding about the questions, which will enhance their comprehension on the major as well.What's more, educational institutions will benefit from guiding students to find appropriate majors. The meaning for existence of educational institutions relies on educate students case by case, rather than teaching students according to worldly so-called success. Students in college or university are ductile. They can be easily influenced by outside prevailing values. If students are right guided to study majors suits them best, the educational institution are in the position to improve the quality and efficiency of education. Meanwhile, it will establish a well-reputation for itself by caring every individual.Although it is of the importance for students to choose the proper major, they still have to think of their own, figure out whether they are strong enough to handle the tough workload in majors they are not interest in. Also, we have to commit that there are chances that student find themselves right in the angle of the major they once feel boring. In the end, educational institutions should intervene students from pursuing fields of study in which they are unlikely to succeed by assessing their performance in the major whether meet their choices or not.
