As the fast development of the society, our lives have been changed. Some people think that studying history and literature is important ,because learning history can help us to improve culture. However, others believe that studying science and mathematics is significant in order to adapt the modern life. From my perspective, I completely agree with the latter viewpoint.
First of all, learning mathematics can cultivate one‘s logical ability which is a improtant capcity to make a judge. Nowadays, it will be successful who can make a strategic decision. For example, when a person face a mass of affairs which are so complicated, he need to decide which one to be dealed with firstly.And the person with excellent logical ability can rapidly make a decision, which will go to success.Otherwise the person cannot decide which one of affairs need be dealed with the earliest, he may do all things without choice,which waste his time and energy.
Secondly, learning science and mathematics is extremely practical in the high-technology society. For instance, the person learning the computer technique, he can fix the computers to help the family ,his neighbours,his friends. If a person has learned the meteorology, he can predict the weather.We can conveniently decide the schedule of outplaying. If a person knew something about the mechanic products, he can repair the broken-down machine,such as cars, washing machine, telephone and so on.
However, it is necessary to learn history and literature. Literature is one of the most powerful in isntruments for forming character and history can cultivate one's literature tutelage. If a person has a more profound knowledge of literature and literary talent inside, he could possess strong language skills and communication skills.
Although I agree that learning science and mathsmatics is important, I feel that the advantageas are more obvious.In my opinion, to study the science and mathsmatics is so useful and so significant.
