not enough. students are limited to their own subject, but when we are going to work, the abilitiy of problem-solving not only need the professional knowledge but also the critical thinking and the varities points. So only concentrate on one subject is not enough to cultivate the ability like that.

expanding horizon, make one person more knowledgeable, have variety of ideas of problem-solving.
don't have enough time for and energy to deal with too many courses. adopting the policy might impede the process of studying.

of course the company need the people who are extremely professional and master techniques skillful in their fields of study. However, the ability to study is more important to the skills you already known, not everyone is born to be tallent, but we could according the effort of studying.
