My major is econ. I did have taken courses outside of my major, such as math and dance. However, courses outside of my own major served different purposes for me. Math for example, could be used as very essential instrument for higher level of economics study. Dance however, is just my personal hobby. I enjoying escaping from academic world and relax myself in music and body movements, which help me find the balance of study and life.

回答：
Surely students cannot survive only by taking their major courses. According to their future plans, they should have planned what courses they should take according to their best interests. For the students who want to go further in academia, they want to take higher level of their major course. For students who want to go in to business, they might want to take more empirical and applied courses.
3. 仅学习自己专业领域的课程对大学生来说是否足够？如果是，请说明理由；如果不是，这样的行为对大学生的发展有哪些局限性？

I don't think it's enough for most people. However, we know that for some people who want to achieve a really deep understanding and professional level in there own field, they can choose not take course from other courses. tThis is also largely decided by the nature of different field. 1. For most social science, it's really hard to master your major knowledge without learning things from 2. However they can get knowledge from working and experiencing. 3. for fields like more technical and theoretical, for example, math, engineering and psychology.
4. 自己专业领域外的其他课程可以带给大学生哪些影响？（可从正面影响、负面影响以及直接和间接影响来考虑）
