6岁左右，越小接受能力越强。
5. 现在国家对孩子幼年外语教育是怎样的？

There are times when most of us have the question that if children
should learn a foreigh language as soon as they start school. The
question never fails to bother us, for there is no consensus among
people as to the issue. Some people maintain that it is a wise choice
for students to learn a foreigh language early, while some others may
hold a different opinion.
From my personal angle alone, the former point coincides with mine and a number of factors may contribute to my opinion.
First, it is obvious that asking children to study foreign language as soon as they start school would bring many benefits. For one thing, students of early age are more adaptive to new things, for example, a foreign language which is a new challenge for them. There is no doubt that they will find the language interesting and adapt to it with less effort. For another, children of young age are more likely to open their mouth to speak the new language without hestitation and shyness, even if they are in the position of starters, which will definitely help them learn better.
Second, there is no doubt that school would provide students with standard education and effective feedbeck of learning. With school teachers who are familar with students, they would make delicate plans of study and report the progress of students to parents anytime, needless to say, the lower price than that of educational training school will also release the burden of parents.
However, inspite the benefits of learning foreign language early, there are also disadvantages along with the learning process. For example, young student may be under lot of pressure when they are faced with the chanllenge, for the simple reason that it is strange and different from their mother language. As a result, they may mimic the sound but fail to understand the true meaning of the words expressed by them, and the culture as well.
In conclusion, I am fully convinced that it is better for students to start learning a foreign language as soon as they go to school. How could you imagine a teenager of 13, who has never had a chance to speak English, start learning a new language? It could be not only difficult but embarrassed for him as well. With so much pressure, the task may never be completed smoothly.
