With the financial crisis coming, the unployment rising year after year, it is difficult to find a job. It is easier for the employees who held varieties of skills than the ones didn't. So should Universities require every student to take a variety of courses outside the student's field of study? It depends,but in my opinion, I agree with it.First, take the courses which are not your major could make you be wised, open your heart and even promote your potential capabilities. For example, my major is Electronic engineering but singing is my hobby, so I select the singing course in the university, during the class I felt happy in that my dream comes true. And I also learn some basic skills in singing. So the university is like a platform that provide students chances to realize their dreams.Second, take variety of courses outside the field of study can train the students some basic capabilities before they get into the society. For example, teachers of the course  you selected cannot express the knowledge in that detail. If you desire to learn more on the subject, you have to learn by yourself. The procession would train yourself with a capability of self-study. Further more, take variety of courses could also acquire the ability of adaption, which is also good for you.Last but not least, take other courses will also get some skills from it. For instance, I had selected the table tennis course and course on logic last year. The coach of table tennis class trained me some basic skills about the most famous sports of China, and I found thousands of happiness in it. At the same time, the teacher of logical class taught me some basic logic of thinking to enlighten me. Both the mind and body enjoyed the feeling at the same time.All in all, even though select variety of courses will occupy the time we used for our major, but as the undergraduates of the time, it is not enough for us to master only one major. So I think choose some different courses is necessary.
