4. 对一个领导者的领导水平的评判应该考虑哪些因素?是否能因为企业失去了活力就让他/她下台?请举例说明。
回答: 应该综合考虑公司风气,公司业绩,公司潜力等一系列因素 不能,可能领导者是为了更加长远的目的才做出牺牲活力的决定,

  I strongly agree that the appropriate leadership play an important role in a successful enterprise, and the replacement of leader sometimes would be helpful. However, whether we should require them to step down every five years in every field as the author suggested is open to doubt.   As a rule of thumb, new leaders usually bring new ideas of leading and managing, and they could ensure the enterprise keeping up with the trends of the times. Meanwhile, new leaders can often lead the enterprise without the constraints of established habits and attitudes, thereby ensuring the development and innovation of the enterprise. From this aspect, the reason writer provided why occurrence of revitalization seemed rational. Success, fame and wealth may lead the leader to corrupt and abuse their power. Long term working time in the position may impede healthy development of an enterprise.   But questions about the suggestion still exist. In different domain and different period, the necessity of change becomes different. During World War II, Roosevelt had been responsible for the president for over ten years, which turn to be a clever decision later. In some company, the leader tenure usually last for a long time because of the special strategy. The replacement of leader may disrupt the whole structure. In the education domain, the frequent change of teacher might be harmful for the students, for most of the teenagers have trouble, less or much, to adapt environment. So, in special condition, the leader’s stepping down seemed less necessary.   Granted that the change of leadership is necessary, are five years an appropriate period? We cannot make a definite amount, but we should take the situation and environment into our consideration to make a conclusion.   To enable the enterprise successful, the quality of the team, the communication and coordination between leaders and subordinates, and the management system are also key factors. Recruiting the excellent graduates may be a great choice for some companies. For business, making a correct and suitable strategy is the striking point. The leader can set an example for the employees, create emotional alignment, and bring the best out of people. In order to increase the ability of the enterprise, not only the leaders, but also the subordinates should contribute a lot.   In my opinion, in the domain of business and education, there should not be a certain period that require the leader to step down, once the leader have done a good job and no people whose ability is more appropriate for the position, he can be responsible for it continually. In the domain of policy, we should depend on the environment of the specific country to set the term.
