回答：对于不同的人，他的能力和背景是不同的，成功也是不同的。我认为，只要自己立下了目标并为之努力无论结果如何，这个人都是成功的。比如很多人立志要考GRE，无论他们最后是否取得好的成绩，在这个过程中他们努力了，成长了，收获了。那么这些人都是成功的

3. 描述一个大众认为是成功的事件，你和大众有同样的看法么？为什么？

回答：公众普遍认为朗朗作为钢琴家是成功的。但从另一个角度想，我不这么认为。朗朗从小学习钢琴，童年最美好的时光他失去了，好多作为孩子应该学习体会的东西他没有体会，另外由于整日练琴也缺乏基本的文化教育，婚姻上也很不顺利。所以我觉得朗朗在生活和为人上是不成功的。

4. 你自己是否已经获得过成功？如果有，请描述一个你认为自己成功的经历。

回答：勉强有吧，曾为物理竞赛努力过，然后拿了个奖项，很开心。（哭逼的教育体制……）

  The speaker asserts that true success can be measured primarily in terms of the goals one sets for oneself. I fundamentally agree. In my point of view, however, I concede success can be measured in many ways, I hold that true success can and should be measured primarily in terms of their own goals.
  Admittedly, societies often consider those who achieved great goals in business, politics, economics and so on as the most successful individuals. Their accomplishments are benefitial to the development of society, technology or economy. For example, Bill Gates and Steve Jobs, both are great CEO and founders, made expectional accomplishments in business and technology. Their companies are major personal computers and operation systems manufactures. And the two companies offer most PCs and systems all around world. They will be remembered in people's hearts forever.
  However, isn't a person who has his or her own goals and has been striving for them successful? I am afraid I cannot agree with that. In China, many graduates initiate their own business. Their business may be little and unfamouse, but they are try their best to work and achieve their own goals. It is possible that most those companies won't as famous and big as Apple and Misrosoft. Even they may give up in furture. But the young people have their own goals and always study or work for them. The whole society should offer them recognition and encourage them to achieve their goals.
  Finally, the backgrounds and abilities of everyone are not the same. The extent to which they set their goals is different. Perhaps, many of them won't be great scietists or businessmen. But, during the time in which they work for their own goals, they learn and improve many abilities such as abilities of communication, sudying and living with others. The abilities will be essential for them to survive in the world. For example, many college students choose to go abroad for further education. And I have to say, many of them won't make it. But in the pursuit of their own goals, they begin to know who they are and what their disadvantages are which are more important than the achievements of goals.
  I concede that those who are great in their fields like business, politics, economics are successful. However, people should not ignore those ordinary persons who are striving for their own goals. No matter what the goals are, the people who are workhard for them should be successful. So I fundamentally agree with the speaker.
