Television is a mass communication medium as temporary.Watching TV programs is an entertaiment thing when people go home after a whole day's working.But lots of people argue that it is bad for children to watch television.As far as i concerned,I considerablely disagree with the statement.
The first reason I want to put forward is that watching television could make children happy and even get some knowledge.When I was young,there were not many assignment after school.We not only watch television but also have a football match.In that time,it is popular among us watching cartoon.We would lock the channel on ths same time day after day.We all enjoyed the content of cartoon and loved the role in it.Also some content of cartoon based on truly thing such as geography and history.We even could not help us to learn something from it.
The second reason can not be ignored is that watching television could improve the ability of communicating with others.You will find some programs are talked by many people in a time range.No except children,they also talk the famous cartoon in the school,if the children did not watch them before,they could not attent the talking group even lonely in the class.How terrible it is!Moreover,children would know new friends through the television programs.
However,everything have its two aspects,watching television must be adaptive for children,no matter time and contend.Parents must acquire their children watch television after they finish homework and have time limit.Children do not have the concept of time,they should be limited by their parents.Futhermore,the contend must be health for children.They can not watch something beyond their age.Something like violent would change their life attitude.
In conclusion,watching television for children is not like what people think.In some points, it is very good for children.Although it has some negtive effects in evidence.But the right point can not be ignored.
