In morden time, computers have become more and more important, with the Internet, compuers seem to be one of the most essential objects in people's life. Of course it made people's life much more eaisier, and employees can finish their works more quickly and efficiently. Also, there is doubt that computers play an significant role in the develpment of society.First of all, no one can claim that they could live normally without computer, and computers are needed in almost every aspect of people's live. For intance, when people want to traval, they can search the destination on the Inthernet, and know in advance about the climate, transportation, hotel, secnery and so forth. By doing this on the Internet, one can plan the schedule well, which could make the trip more comfortable.  Well, the benefits which conputer bring about in more than that. Another sample is the online shopping, which is much more popular, you can buy whatever you want on the Internet, people need not to go to the shoppong mall or the supermarket to choose their favoriate  from hundreds of thousands merchandise, it really convenient, isn't it?Secondly, computer can help people solve various problems they meet at work. Such as the mathematical problems, which one may take several day to solve, but the computer program can give you answers in several hours. Take my own experiences as an example, I am a postgraduate student, and my major is bioinformatics, which need to use math, statistics, computer science to solve the problems in biology. So computers become an indispensible tool for us. We need it to make some programs to analysis large amount of data. In my laboratory, we have almost 10 big computers, which call as the computer workstation, they mainly used to help us cope with those problems we met in research. Therefore, without such computers, we have to stop our researches. However, even if computers have so many advantages, I have to say, they also bring some negative effects on people's life.  Such as many yong people are addicted to the computer games, and computers have risks to give some personal secrets away. But considerating all those factors, the advantages of computers carry more weight than disadvantages.  From what has been discussed above, now we may finally draw conclusion that computers indeed have a great impact on people's life, and on social development.
