Education of children involves in not only mental inculcaion but also physical teaching, both of which must be gained through the cooperation of teachers at school and parents at home. Parents' infuence in their children's behavior and later performance in the rest of their life has been reported and supported by a large amount of  sociologists and educational experts, hence, I totally agree that all parents should be required to volunteer time to their children's schools.Just as school education aims at not just instilling knowledge to children but also teaching them how to behave correctly, and how to work with others as a team, home education also has various purposes, one of which is to assist teachers to accomplish the learning proces of the children. For the reason that in most regular classes, there are dozens of students and it may be unrealistic for the teacher to pay enough attention to each student and find the usual problems of the students' behavior timely. When this happens, parents'  participation can compensate such flaws and because of their relatively longer time with their children, parents may know better about their children and solve the problem conveniently. For example, a timid girl may not dare to ask the strict teacher when she is puzzled with a mathematical problem, and when she is back home, if her mother always spends one hour with her after supper and talk with her about her school life, then the girl is able to get answer for her mother and through this way, get up with her classmates.Admittedly, examples of parents who spend so much time with their children and encroach their children's privacy, or even script the future for their children, exist, this can not validate that no time shoould be spended. In China, with the increasing income of common families, parents are willing to devote all spare time to oversight their only child to play piano and violin,  drill mathematical problems and spellings for hours a day, and allow no sleepovers, holiday vocations. Such devotion of time is not what we advise them to.Also, some will argue that for double-income families, both parents are too busy to spent time for the children and after a fullday work, they just want to have a rest, and just leave all the educaiton thing to school and teachers. This phenomenon is prevalent perticularly in big cities, due to the stressful occupations most adults are in.But all the excuses for not devoting time in children's education should give way to the concerning of the children's future. A child who recieves more attention when he was young achieves much more and develops a more optimistic personality after they enter his adulthood while a child who was paid little attention during his childhood may end up with many potential problems like being diffident and unlike to communicate with others.In summary, we recommend all parents to spend enough time in their children's schools and communicate with them regularly, afterall, playing with children can also benefit the parents themselves.
