In the fast developing information era, education received more and more emphisition and the society pay increasing attention to individual requirement of students since people come to the consensus that talents the society asked have their outstanding personality which cannot be supplanted by others. As a result, the question that whether students' requirement should be entirely fulfilled by educators in the settlement of curriculums. While i think the answer is negtive as personally stance.
To begin with, i have to granted that it is necessiry to pay sufficient attention to students' individual requirement when arranging the curriculum. The essence of education which has been maintained through the long education history is that do the best for developing students' knowledge and solve their personal problems. Without hearing students' opinion, these aim can never be accomplished. What's more, these actions may bring several advantages for instance developing students' interests for study, enhancing the interaction between students and teachers which may do good to the study efficiency.
While at the same time, a entirely adoption of students' suggestion may be unwarranted. Since students are too young to be totally rational to make such significant decision that they have little opinion about which courses are benifit for their future development and which are futile, and their intelectural restriction may make them purchase faulcy interests that may be detrimental if these aspects are involved in the settlement of curriculum. At the meanwhile, educators who have a more profound recognization with education and broader knowledge have experience enough to make validit determination of curriculum. They can take scientific mechanics into the process and make full use of their former experience that a rational curriculum can be made with a high efficiency.o
The last but not the least, there is no necessity and feasibility for such an action to adope new growing children's opinions into account. As come across the long time education history, the former curriculum procedure has became a rational one that have little flawness to be correct. And the growing process of students are essentially the same at the same period that the commeness ask for little change as time fleeting. What's more, take the amount of students and the variaty of the possible suggestion into consideration that these actions can hardly be accomplished, and if an a portion of students are paid enough attention for their suggestion it may be unfair for other ones.
All in all, the educators should weigh the advantage and disadvantage of theis actions and make a balance between them, thus the most rational and newal curriculum can be made and children can benefit from it to most extent.
