TOPIC: ISSUE130 - "How children are socialized today determines the destiny of society. Unfortunately, we have not yet learned how to raise children who can help bring about a better society."
 
 
I agree with the speaker's overall assertion. In this age of what accompanies the accelerated pace of society is unprecedented technological advancements. Children's is our hope and depends partly of our society's destiny. In the meantime, their socialized level determines society's future more or less. Fortunately, we have found many ways to develop their ability to be a socialization person. For this matter, it is obviously that the speaker's assertion is a little extreme.
 
 
In order to establish a robust and flourish society, we should try our best to let children to be more socialization. But why we should help them to develop this capacity? Because socialization is a procedure that humans grow up from nature man to be social men. In this process, if children are enough socialized, it could help them accept basic knowledge and skills more easily. It is highly possible that socialized children could get along with their friends. Society is a big family. Only though everybody's hard work, can we create an excellent world. Everyone should learn to work with each other. When children adapt into the society, if they have been cultivated to be socialized, they would not feel inadaptable and could cooperate with colleague naturally. In this way, children could make contribution to social development effectively.
 
 
Besides the children's socialization, there are still many other features determine the destiny of society. With the advanced knowledge and development science level, our economic could make aggress. To some extent, the development of the economy influences people's standard of living. Therefore, knowledge is also one of the most important factor determines society's future. On the other hand, leader's high moral and ethic is also an important element. China's economy could no develop so fast without pursuing the policy of Reform and Open-up in 1978. All of these are the important factors which influence our society's future.
 
 
As for the speaker's assertion that we failed to learn how to raise children to bring about a better society, in my observation, we can find examples in history to prove it is incomprehensive. What we have got the achievements now can advocate that we have raised our children to build a better society. Everyone grow up through the children period, we get the education from our teachers, parents, and the society. What the society we have now is the one which is harmony and flourishing. The majority of people respects others and can cooperation well. In the meantime, parents now are more concentrate on the education of the children, there are even many TV show provide for the children to present themselves there. All of these are the factors that we have found the ways to let children to be the socialization one.
 
 In sum, the speaker's assertion is a little extreme that he overemphasizes the important of our children's socialization. The speaker ignore our society also attribute to many other factors. And then, the speaker presents a passive attitude that we have not found ways to help our children to bring about a better society.
