回答: 1. Give students introduction to different areas of studies, to help the students to choose the right fields. Schools can do this by holding major exploration events, and give opportunities for people to hear from others working in the fields. 2. Give adequate information about the fields for the students to work in the fields they like. 3. Let the students know how to study once they graduate and don't need to take classes any more. This can be done by giving creative homeworks and projects in the classes, to encourage students to collaborate and teach themselves.

Education is the main method for people to further knowledge and work in areas of interest. Schools play an important role for helping students to choose the career they like and developing the necessary skills. However, educational institutions should not dissuade students from choosing careers that are less likely to succeed. The definition of success is ambiguous and students should work on areas that they are passionate about. There are many different definitions to success. To Steve Jobs, to be able to make a dint in the world is success. To ordinary people, being able finish work on time and go home to spend with families might be called success. To an athlete, making a progress is called succeed. In general, to be able to have self-fulfillment means success. The educational institutions have definition of success that differs from individual definitions, and therefore can not use their definition to regulate the students. The definition of success is not measured by people's salary, but their accomplishment on the fields of work or study. If people choose their own fields of study they like, they will be passionate, and passion fuels innovation and advancement of their fields. Without passion, people will not enjoy working, they would be working like robots. For most adults, working takes the majority time of everyday life. If we do not gain happiness from working, many people will feel depressed. Lack of passion will not lead to innovation. If schools encourage students to study in fields that are more likely to success, the schools become a factory of  making working machines, and the students lack the abilities to innovate and work in areas that few people have worked on before. With many people working on the same area and sharing the soup from the same pot, the soup will run out soon and almost everyone will be affected. However, if people work on areas where few have done before, they might succeed. Being the first inventors always lead to a lot more benefits than following the others. And people should dare to take risks and challenge themselves -- that's how we get stronger and better. In summary, schools should not regulate students from taking classes that are more likely to succeed. The schools don't know the students' potential and don't know whether they will make a difference working in areas that they love.
