Education is a very important character to be a human being. If a man isn't educated, I don't think he can be called as a true human being. Education has lasted for thousands of years. In old days, education was just that a teacher stood on the platform and a number of students sat on the chair and listened. But different from the old days, the education today has changed in many aspects. And I think the changes make much easier to become educated than ever before.  Comparing with the money put in education in the past time, many countries spend a bunch of money to help poor students get education. Many students in poor families can go to primary school and junior high school because of the education law and the money that government spends in elementary education. Not only in elementary education, government also concerns about the higher education. In fact, One of my roommate, who lives in the Gansu Province which is one of the poorest province in China, couldn't go to Tsinghua University though he got a very high score in the college entrance examination just because of no money. Fortunately, the government helped him with education loans and subsidy, so he could enter the college. So government helps poor students to get education easier.  Not only the government can help education become better, the technology also contribute a lot. The Internet, one of the greatest invention in the 20th century, let students be educated by the best teachers all around the world. Last month, I studied the course Justice: What the right thing to do from Harvard University. It made me know sorts of social problems that I had never thought before. MOOC, an online course aiming at unlimited participation and open access via the web, in many universities also help the students from all around the world to get knowledge from varieties of teachers in different colleges. I still remember my organic chemistry teacher talked about her African students in MOOC who really have a talent for it. Therefore, I believe that technology makes education easy to get nowadays.  Actually, it's true that modern education has some bad phenomenons. For example, because of the convenience of the Internet, there are more fraud pretending teaching in order to cheat money. But I still believe that we can get much easier education now than in the past.
