如果仅仅是为了某项工作而学习必要的技能，却忽略了学生价值观的培养，与大学的通识教育是相违背的。通识教育旨在讲学生培养成为一个具有公民基本素养和社会生存能力的人，而不过分强调技能，或是忽略这些受益终生的理念标准的培养。一个人如果没有正确的价值观，也就是没有正确的方向，为工作所做的准备极有可能会得到相反的结果。
3. 除了为工作做准备以外，在大学阶段，学生应该锻炼哪些其他能力？怎样进行这些能力的锻炼？请举例并简述。

除了为工作做准备意外，学生还应该学会独立思考问题，判断不同观点的优劣。这种能力，可以通过训练学生查阅文献，分析不同作者之间观点的差异来训练。学生还应该有较强的运动能力，在大学里多样化运动形式，增强体质，以更好的应对来自社会、家庭等的矛盾。

工作中并非只有专业知识是有用的，实际工作往往要求多变，死的技能并不能应对多变的业务，因此唯有学会独立思考，才能够分析具体情况，据此使用相应的策略解决。因此，在大学阶段，应该进行思维的训练，通过对所学专业知识的再思考，增进理解，抽象出自己的东西来。同时，现在的工作往往不能独立完成，需要很多人的合作。团结合作的能力是工作能够完成的基本保障，比如苹果公司在做iphone的时候，能够达到如此好用户体验，是许多人共同完成的。如果不能有效合作，意见不一，根本无法完成

Millions of new graduates enter the job market every year, and with urbanization and the rapidly changing job market, it is becoming increasingly important to link education with employability. No graduates ever before have been faced with more challenging employment than current students. Automatically, large portions of them choose major based on the future financial stability. This is no doubt responsible for their future life, however, in my point of view, students should base their major more on their interests and passions.
It is unblamable to choose job-friendly major to pay for life's basics. Parents in China usually spend enormous money on children's education, from primary school hiring expensive tutors to college costing big-buget in tuition fees, and expect them to get good job and pay them back. Students naturally have to balance between outcomes and incomes, thus they are reluctant to take risks on unpredictable majors.
But does the availability of job really mean future success in career. Definitely not. Suppose that we have to spend large amounts of time on tedious and seemly dullful work in terms of its high salary and firm support for luxurious lifestyle, we are not able to enjoy the happiness in work and make innovations. We will lose our passion and love for life and feel suffered and bored about work day by day. We are fettered in money-motivated patterns and have no power to overcome obstacles in study. Consequently, we get no job offers. Furthermore, it's difficult to predict if a popular major for the time being will retain its good state many years later. It's very likely that one chose a popular field upon the entrance of college but after his graduation he finds it far less needing than years before. Consider the case of computer industry, in the years between 1995 and 2000, lots of students switched their majors to computer science just because it seems much more promising and profitable than their previous majors. However, after 2001, when the conditions of computer industry plunged due to crackness of Internet bubble, many of them lost their jobs.
Take Steve Jobs as an example, telephone developed a lot before him and everybody has no aware of the future phones. While Steve get over the traditions and bring about the era of Iphone. Even little children prefer to say "iphone" other than "phone" in their cognitive class. It is the interest and passion for job that makes a difference. In Jobs's time, many of students would like to choose law or medicine as their major for the availability of jobs, instead, Steve chose to follow his heart and finally the Apple Inc. was born and dominated until now.
