(Inner and outer life)

I fundamentally disagree with the author's opinion. In today's society, the criterion of success of a single person can not be how much the money the person can earn. We used to think about that the more money a person can earn, the more he or she is successful. But except for money, we human being still have inner life. If a person is full of money but lack of healthy, and live in agony everyday.  How could we judge him successful? Only a person is full of inner and outer life did we can say he or she is successful. On the one hand, if a student chooses a major which the educational institutions have recommended, could the student really successful? I don't think so. First, there is three hundred and sixty trades, and every trade has its master. So each person has the possibility of success in each trade. If one choose a major only for the so call "more likely succeed", it will turn into, in the contrary, unsuccessful. Because a person would lose it interest when facing a major he or she does not like, resulting in absent of classes, and then the lose is just around the corner.  So it is unwise to choose a major just for the so-called success.  On the other hand, the vital factor of success for a person is not the major he or she chooses but the ability he or she achieve in college. Knowledge is power as well as the key to success. The conception of lifelong learning is indispensable for everyone. And a college student should train the ability of autonomic learning.  Except for these, the ability of communication ,how to become a leader, play an important role for a student when coming into society.  We can not deny the fact that there really exist a lot of promising fields such as green energy, Internet of Things and electronic industry. Students study in the majors relative to such fields is more likely to find jobs, get high position and earn more money. But we can not take a student's interest for granted. A student who has astute business mind can be a essential successful businessman. But a student tends to study in a calm environment and like to delve deeply into physical phenomenon is more likely to be a physics professor rather than a talkative politician. A well-known Chinese education, Confucius has indicated that: teach students in accordance with their aptitude. We can not design a student's career. However, we can direct them into a field they like. Interest is the best teacher. Through interest, the essential power of a student can be activated, and we could believe that they will achieve their own success in their favorite field.
