回答: 例子1 :在高中阶段,学校对于数学能力掌握,是按照学生大学所要学习的专业而粗略划分的。如果学生在大学将选择理科课程,那么他将被安排学习比较难的课程;如果学生在大学学习的文科课程,那么他所需要的数学能力则没有这么高。 好处:目的性更强,为学生的大学学习打好基础。 问题:有的文科以及艺术课程不需要太高的数学知识,但是将选择这些专业的学生还是需要花费很多精力学习数学课程。 例子2 不同地区的地理课程中加入很多当地人文景观,自然风貌的特色。 能让学生对自己周围的环境有更加深入的认识。

回答: 基础教育应该注重学生学习兴趣、学习能力与学习习惯的培养,而非过多注重学习的内容。 如果国家统一课程, 学习统一的内容会让学生减少对该学科的兴趣, 用统一的教学方法则会不利于学生培养属于自己的学习方法, 从而强制让学生养成不合适的学习习惯。
4. 在基础教育阶段统一课程对于国家统治和管理有什么好处?有什么弊端?请举例说明。
回答: 1 虽然教学效率可能显著提高,但统一课程会扼杀学生的创新意识 2 不利于培养学生的独立思考能力 3 统一课程的标准由谁来制定,如果由政府制定,政府肯定会朝着利于他统治的方面去制定标准,这样会扼杀思想上的自由,学生不具备个性。
5. 如果各地自己决定基础教育阶段的课程内容,对于学生的培养有什么好处?有什么弊端?请举例说明。
回答: 1 因地制宜,学生会了解当地的人文特色 2 促进学生多元化的思考,培养自由的学术精神 3 如果没有统一标准,国民的整体水平将会参差不齐,一些应该被认为是常识的知识没有得到统一的认识。

Should all the teenagers be taught in the same content of curriculum? There is a debate on this educational problem has lasted for years. I conceive that, national curriculum, although essential, should not be unified to the same one even these curriculums will be taught before students enter their college.   The aim of educational institutes which suitable to teenagers such as primary schools and high schools is to encourage them to find their own favor, and teach them the methodology of study, and try to thinking in different way. However ,unified national curriculum does not meet any one of these aim.   First, thinking differently is essential to everyone, it is the sourse of creativity. If the entire students are having the same class, this will give a negative effect on their personality. Let us imagine that if there are kinds of idea held by the students, one of them is supported by the majority, and the other one held by the minority. Discrimination will exist, and the majority will begin attack those who hold the different ideas. Some minority, in order to protect him, will give up his opinion and reluctantly support the one they object. This is not kidding; it used to happen in the Nazi Germany and Soviet Union. Those dissidents were cruelly treated if they hold the different idea with their chairman. When there are no people think in the same way, all people will be fanatic.   Second, if all students are taught in the same national curriculum, they will be some terrible disaster once the curriculum mistakes something. The cost to let the curriculum keep on the reality is large. Nowadays, people are easily taught by internet; however, the unified curriculum is telling people knowledge that outdated. So the implement of these kind of curriculum will be a failure.       I concede that there are some advantages of the unified curriculum. On the laws and citizen rights, all people should be taught how to protect themselves and some basic historical fact should be told to our teenagers. Once the unified curriculum implement, it will improve the quality of people in this aspect with efficacy. However, the committees of curriculum are not consist of professional expertise and, the nation try to use the curriculum to fool the people and distorted the fact, these curriculum will never be a textbook of commonsense but a tool for the government to control people’s mind.   In the contrary, different curriculum by different region can let their students new more about their surroundings. As a multicultural society, teenagers should be told to respect the difference between people. They should be tolerating to religion, dissident. In addition, as the tradition and language used by different people, there should be different versions of these curriculum. And only the school committee and parents make agreement on the curriculum those teenagers should be taught can keep the liberty and personality of teenagers.   In conclusion, I considered that a nation should not require all the students to learn the same curriculum, because this policy will validate the right of liberty and lead to the potential brain wash.
