In modern society, many works are achieved by teams. Every team needs a leader to lead others and make decisions to the teamwork.I think a good leader can make the members of team to feel that they also make the decision by themselves.
If other members make the decision with their leader, they will know the kernel of the work. Then it is easy to catch the key point and have a clear direction and goal. All members can do their jobs better. Last year, when I and my classmates began to do a subject study, we had cost some times to discuss the topic of our study together before we applied for it.We had known the key and the difficulty of our works and made a better plan to solve them by discussing.I think the decision made by all members of the team can get more acceptation and it will make all members feel more belonging and worth. Because of these, all members will try their best to do the work and finish it.For example, when I and my classmates did our subject, all of us had wanted to do the best work and struggled for it because we was interested in the subject established by us. Everyone had enjoyed his job.On the other hand, Making the decision with all members may take much time to coordinate everyone's idea because it is difficult to cater for all tastes.Maybe it is will make the work inefficient.For example, the commander should make the decision by his own experience and wisdom in the war, because the opportunities change very quickly. If the commander hesitate for a while, there will be large injuries and deaths.
In some situation, such as wars, games, leaders need make decision by themselves because it is urgent.But in the daily life, the leader should ask other team members to make the decision together for the better result to get.
