With the development of social, people have pay more attention to the methods of education, especially for university. Hence it is no accident that some university demand students take course in many different subject,while other university suggest student to specilize in one subject. Nevertheless, in my perspective, university should require student take course in many different subject. My argunments are list as fellow:
In the first place, it is absolutely accepted that taking course in variety subject can help people enhance their sight. Because by learning different subject, you can receive a large number of information which will improve our ways of thinking. Taking my own experience as a example, as I am a piano learner, when I was a high school student I only know few western composers who composing the piano works. However, after studying in university and taking course in many different subject such as aesthetic, historical and psychology. Then I really found that music is so interesting and fantastic.
Here comes the second, once you taking course in many different subject we are able to get a chance to enrich your interests. If you always focus on one subject, that is something like you surrender a good opportunity to touch with new field. So you will never found that this is a world of exciting, diversification and wonderful where the overriding colour is colorized. For instance, when you chosen a major which you dislike during the university time, you might be feel frustrated. However, as far as I am concerned, one of the advantages of taking many different courses is that it help us to find out a major which we really interested in.
Last but not the least, as the requirement of social to the talents, the interviwers may more willing to recruit someone who is a person with widely knowledge and capability. Unlike in the past time, nowadays we can not get a job without abundant techniques in many times . There is a research about the problem of undergraduates obtain employment. It has been investigated that almost 90 percent of employer claim that employee should have diversified ability to be entirely competent at a job.
To sum up, it is no accident that the requirement of taking course in many different subjects of some universities is totally reasonable. Only by this way universities taking, can they not only fulfil the requirement of students but also for the society.
