As people are aware of the dangers of the cigarette, the rule is issued that people no longer allowed to smoke in many public places and office buildings. Several people, who oppose the rule,think the rule can confine their habits. However, in my opinion, the rule is good for three reasons.
First of all, smoking is harmful to health, which is either harmful to oneself or to others. If someone smoked in the public places or office building where plentiful people are playing or working, the harmful smoke will invade in  their body through the their breath. The harmful smoke can cause a lot of diseases, such as lung cancer, respiratory illness, heart disease, hypertension and so on, which result in lifelong suffering even death. The people will spend large amounts of money to cure the diseases, furthermore, whose family will lost in sore.
Secondly, smoking can bring about dangerous accidents in the public places or office buildings.  The smoking caused the mountain fires which lead to considerably serious loss about property and the life. For example, in my hometown, there was a mountai fire which is caused by  extinguish the burning of butt littered by a tourest. In order to extinguish the fire, eight firemen died. Meanwhile the forest was damaged with hundreds of plants and animals died and soil ruined.
However, there may be one or two disadvantages of prohibit people's smoking in the public places. Someone,  who is engaged in the special job, need smoke to keep clear-headed. For instance, my father is a driver. when he is driving alone with boring and tired, he always smokes to fix attention to the work.
Although I agree that there may be a couple of disadvantages about the rule, I feel that the advantages are more obvious. In my opinion, that no allowed to smoke in the public places and office buildings is a good rule.
