1. 怎样评价学习某个专业是否可能成功或者不可能成功?应该参考哪些因素?请举例并简述。
回答: Success means one can make some contributions to the world or his or her industry. If it has to be quantified, the criterion is how much General Domestic Production one can make. In China, some people has been research on keep moving machine for many years, but obviously it is against Newton's classic theory that there were no non-energy consuming machine in the world, moving energy will always transferred to heat energy or others. That means they will never make the society a better one and they can not make any accomplishment.
2. 如果没能形成正确的价值理念标准,而仅仅为了“成功”而选择专业,会有哪些潜在的问题和不足?请举例并简述。
回答: If someone just want to chase after fame or money instead of make the world better, they may choose a high payback major. However, these kind of majors may not suitable for them, after they start studying, they may find it is boring and abandon it. For example, there is a high school classmate of mine, he choose Economics as his major despite the fact that his really interest is history. After he became a sophomore in university, he was trapped in complex mathematics. Last time I saw him, his hair almost turned grey and dark eye shadow was hanging there. Honestly, if he choose history as his major, although it is a not popular major in China and it is not very easy for him to find a job, but I think at least he will accomplish something in that area.
3. 除了为以后的成功做准备以外,在大学阶段,学生应该锻炼哪些其他能力?怎样进行这些能力的锻炼?请举例并简述。
回答: Definitely knowledge in the very area that one addicted to is essential, some common capability is of equal importance in one's lifetime. For instance, it is not uncommon in China now that some elites suddenly pass away due to the fact that they lack of everyday exercise. And from long time ago, highly knowledge equipped youngsters can't express themselves well and almost became foolish when it comes to communication. If one really want to accomplish something in future, other than study necessary major skills, they have to equip them with other various capabilities. They have to exercise more frequently and be more open to others, try to express themselves in front of the public.
4. 在毕业之后的工作和生活中,是否只有专业知识才是有用的?如果不是,还有哪些知识是有用的?为什么?请举例说明。
回答: It is not only professional knowledge counts, other basic common sense is of equal importance. Prominent scientist like Einstein can't live well in daily life considering the fact that he can not deal with elementary mathematics correctly. There is a story I get from elementary school that Einstein can not count the total price of meet when he is in a supermarket. Definitely, only professional knowledge can not make sure of one can live normally not saying success.
5. 教育机构应该对学生的学习和发展起到怎样的引导作用?都应该如何去做?请分析并简述。
回答: In all, educational institution should teach their students well, make sure students can get sufficient knowledge from them. On the other hand, they had better convey a correct value of success, instruct their students that what success really means, it is not just money or fame, it may involves what youngsters interest and payback, educational institutions should teach them not to make a regrettable decision.
