The world is changing every minute nowadays .If one wants to keep up
with the high pace of development , he or she must have a strong ability to being
innovative . Being innovative is a most important quality in any field . Politicians should be innovative when making
policy , business man should be innovative when doing business , educators
should be innovative when developing education plans . So , I strongly agree
that In any field those in power should step down after five years. Ten years ago , the most
powerful household appliances industry in china was the Haier industry . At that
time , it’s products were claimed the best and every family wants to have one
of them . But now , we rarely hear the name Haier , it already lost it’s market
to other new enterprises . There might be multiple reasons for the sinking of
Haier , but the most important reason is that it’s leaders were too stiff to
make changes . When other enterprises devote a lot of power to produce more
smaller washing machines and more high definition televisions , Haier stick to
the traditional form . The senior leaders refused to take the risk . Eventually , Haier lost most of its engineers
to other household appliances enterprises and gradually disappear from the
industry . Although today Haier come back with a whole new face , but it can
never be that popular like ten years ago . Because of the error of the leaders ,a strong empire was destroyed
, If the leaders of Haier at that time was replaced as long as the leader
refused to innovate , it might be whole new story . When the Chairman Mao replaced by Deng xiao ping , china's economy
step into a new high , the reform and opening-up policy help Chinese people walk
out of poverty and feudal and embrace a new era . New leadership can inject new
energy to enterprises and lead to a new high . However , some traditional industries that have already shaping a
complete industry chain need a experienced man to lead . The person who lead
these kinds of industries should be very familiar with it . In this case ,it
might be harmful for the industry to change leaders in a short run . In whole , changing leaders would be better to enterprises to get to
a new high and stay competitive .
